This cartoon was published in London Free Press of 7 May 1975, in the editorial page. The image alludes to the perils of deploying under UNFICYP: none could shelter from the hazards of armed confrontations. It is a direct reference to an incident that resulted in the death of Captain Ian Patten, who was seating in the balcony of his hotel room when a bullet fatally wounded him.
